• 2012 - 19

  Our previous company, Shaw Academy provided online learning to students globally with scheduled and on demand courses across multiple subjects.

• 2020

  The Covid 19 pandemic saw huge uptake in the volumes of students taking our courses with millions signing up within months. We also significantly expanded the number of courses and faculties and launched several European language courses.

• 2021

  A transformational year!
  In the second half of 2021, the company changed ownership and rebranded as Upskillist. We also launched our Enterprise platform, providing a competitive, easy-to-use, one-stop-shop solution for SMEs who want to upskill their employees.

• 2022

  With a new focus on upskilling people globally, we developed and launched multiple new courses focused on soft skills and enabled more on demand watching and micro courses. Our consumer and enterprise business continues to engage learners in our content and deliver certifications for hundreds of thousands of students every month.

• 2024

  A Revolutionary Leap Forward!
  2024 marks the beginning of Upskillist’s most ambitious chapter yet. With a bold new mission, a razor-sharp focus on results, and values that put students first, we’ve redefined what online education can achieve. This year, we unveiled revolutionary products, including Compass AI and Pathfinder, designed to deliver personalized, goal-oriented learning journeys like never before.
